Melina Olmo,
Founder, Cultura Diplomática

Hi, I'm Melina Olmo — founder of Cultura Diplomática and creator of the Cultura Diplomática Framework — Conectando, Degustando, Edificando — a proprietary methodology for building authentic dialogue between institutions and communities across cultural difference.
I'm the author of Subvenciones: Construyendo Capacidad en el Tercer Sector, a grants management guide for Latino nonprofit professionals, and a contributor to the Chronicle of Philanthropy.
With over a decade of experience in grants administration, program management, and nonprofit leadership, I work with foundations and organizations that want to move from transactional compliance to genuine cross-cultural partnership. My work happens before the crisis — when dialogue is still possible.
I hold a Bachelor's in International Studies from American University in Washington, D.C., and a Master's in Local Economic Development from the London School of Economics. I have dedicated my career to the intersection of culture, dialogue, and institutional change — building Cultura Diplomática from vision to methodology, one genuine connection at a time.
We have lost human connection. I believe communication is the key to restoring it — and that when we come together genuinely, we can edify something greater than what any of us builds alone.
